Deal development for PKB inhibitor announced
Cambridge, Thursday 7th January 2010 --- A Protein Kinase B inhibitor will be taken into clinical development by AstraZeneca, following a successful collaboration with the biotechnology company Astex Therapeutics. The PKB programme, from which the clinical candidate was selected, stemmed from collaborative research originally carried out by The Institute of Cancer Research, CRT and Astex.
